Yes, we are looking for people who are great at their jobs, not those who are great at playing sports. We implement a merit based system where neither activity level or demographics come into play. We are looking for ambitious, capable and professional individuals who care our vision and values.
To apply for any of our vacancies you will be asked to complete an online application. Once you have signed in or registered with us you will be able to begin your application. If you are creating an account for the first time, please ensure you provide an email address that you access regularly as this will be our main means of contacting you regarding your application.
We use them to provide a good opportunity for you to show off your potential in a variety of work based scenarios. Equally they help you to find out about us, the role and what we are looking for.
Our head offices are based at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire, TF10 9AT. Depending on the role it will either be based at the head offices, based working from home or dual based where there will be a mix of working from home and in the office.
Look through the role profile and think of examples from work and your personal experiences where you have demonstrated these competencies, skills and experience. We recommend using the STAR method for your responses as detailed above.
If you have been invited to attend for an interview you will receive an email asking you to log into the site to book a time slot, which operates on a first come first serve basis. This will specify where your interview will take place.
We have moved more towards virtual interviews. If you would prefer a face-to-face interview then this can be arranged.
Depending on the nature of the role you have applied for there may be occasions where interviews are face-to-face, in these circumstances if you are unable to attend face-to-face then virtual interview can be arranged
Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse interview travel expenses, please bear this is mind before booking your interview.

We are unable to give individual feedback to applicants who didn’t get to the interview stage. This is due to the large amount of application we receive across a wide range of vacancies.
We aim to inform all candidates of the outcome of their application within two weeks of the closing date. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control this may take longer, if you are unsure of your applications progress then please contact peopleservices@british-gymnastics.org
Contact peopleservices@british-gymnastics.org and specify which date you’d be able to attend within 2 days of the interview date. We advertise with interview dates to try and make the process as smooth as possible, while we will try our best to accommodate the changes this is not always possible. We will advise if the interviews can only take place on specified dates.
